Mark plays drums with the passion and power of a rock drummer, married beautifully with all the precision and creativity of a jazz musician. He brings many sonic textures to his playing with a distinctive technique that compliments Andy's bass playing.
Unlike drummers who view music only in rhythmic terms and don't get too involved in harmonies and chord changes, Mark's approach to drumming is enriched and broadened by the fact that he also plays guitar and bass. Besides keeping the rhythm moving along in time, his excellent memory for music, his attention to detail, and his ear for arrangements all help keep the band on the same page and focused in a cohesive direction.
Mark uses Paiste cymbalsand has in fact used cymbals very extensively in the recording sessions for the new album.

Andy Budge

Constantly redefining the bass guitar, Andy's playing is hard to describevery melodic, while retaining a distinct edge and a defined groove. While he is certainly shaped to an extent by his wide musical tastes and influences, he has taken bass playing quite a bit further than merely drawing on those who have gone before him and has really made it his own. One might say he plays bass the way a lead guitar player would, but even that isn't an entirely accurate description. It might be more accurate to say he uses notes the way a poet uses words.
Andy is also a multi-instrumentalist. He plays acoustic and electric guitar, and rumour has it may even be learning harmonica.

Simon Drew

Lead guitar is this man's obsession, but in a good way. Simon is of course influenced by the greatsHendrix, SRV, Claptonbut it soon becomes apparent listening to what he does that, while his playing is most certainly of the same calibre as the guitar greats of the past, it is different from anything that has been heard before.
Simon generously layers his impeccable guitar tone and finely honed blues/rock sensibilities over Mark and Andy's firm foundation of relentless groove to great effect.

Dave Kelly
A very versatile keyboard player, Dave completes the sound of the Cary Grace Band. Whether the recipe calls for tasty piano licks, gritty vintage organ, sound effects, sitars, or something else entirely, he is on the job. He can, and does, play in almost every stylesometimes even within the same song.
In addition to piano and keyboards, Dave also plays cello, and a long list of various other instruments. He is always full of surprises.
